How it works

Pick a story, read the scenes and chat with the characters or tap one of the choices, your words change what happens next. You can create your own characters and let your iPhone write a whole new story with you in it. The characters are AI and the stories are fiction.

Common questions

What is the story engine download?

The story engine is the AI model that writes the scenes on your iPhone. It downloads once, about 2.6 GB, on Wi-Fi and needs about 3 GB of free space. To download over cellular, turn on Download over cellular in Settings, Story engine. Stories already play while it downloads, the full engine makes them richer. If the download stops it tries again by itself.

Which iPhones are supported?

iPhone 15 Pro and newer. The AI runs on the iPhone itself and needs the chip and memory of these models.

I bought the Story Pass and still see ads

Purchases arrive within a few seconds. If not, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. It also brings the Story Pass back on a new iPhone or after reinstalling, as long as you use the same Apple ID.

How do I cancel the monthly Story Pass?

Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose AI Story Chat. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. The lifetime Story Pass is a one-time purchase with nothing to cancel.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Are my chats private?

Yes. The AI runs on your iPhone and there is no account. Nothing you type, no story, character or chat is sent to us or any server. That also means we cannot restore them for you, they come back only with a device backup.

How do I report a reply?

Long press the reply, tap Report, then Send report. Your mail app opens with the text of the reply, add anything you like and send it, we look at every report. Nothing is sent until you send the mail.

How do I delete my data?

Settings, Delete my data removes every playthrough, your own stories and their pictures and your characters from the iPhone. Deleting the app removes everything, including the story engine. The Story Pass stays with your Apple ID.
